The Stirling Market, on the fourth Sunday of each month, is regarded as one of South Australia’s most popular street markets. With 80 stalls of local and artisan producers that make, bake, and grow, it’s become a fixture under the oak trees of Druid Avenue.
Held on the same day as the Stirling Market between September - December and February - May, Stirling Laneways is more than a market.
Each event presents a diverse program of street performance in addition to the stalls that pop up in the town’s nooks and lanes. Bubble blowers, fire breathers, stilt walkers, dancers, solo musicians and bands bring a kaleidoscope of colour, movement and music. It’s always changing, always new and fresh, with an unforgettable ambience.
